Introducing Dr. Joy Mason
Dr. Mason was raised as an Air Force dependent, born in the US she was raised in Germany and France as a child. Dr. Mason likes to speak these languages although no longer fluent, when she has the opportunity. A 1983 graduate of Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mason is the first black woman to do so.
About Me
Dr. Mason is trained in animal acupuncture (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society), human acupuncture as well. Dr. Mason has a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University Los Angeles. Also a certificate in Asian Bodywork and Qigong from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. Currently living in Ocala, FL with 2 French bulldogs, one cat and a Indian Ringneck Parrot.
